Welcome to the BEST BLOG EVER!

Welcome readers! My name is Miss Bogaert and I teach fourth grade language arts and RTI. I have always loved reading and grew up obsessed with Cam Jansen and The Boxcar Children series. I love mysteries as long as they aren’t too scary! I love mysteries because I like trying to solve the problem/puzzle before the characters do. As a reading teacher, it makes me so happy when my students find a series or author they love. Please blog back to tell us about yourself and what you like to read!

Hello readers! My name is Mrs. Hudowalski and I teach fifth grade language arts and RTI. I am so excited to be blogging with you this summer and learning about you as a reader! Reading is one of my favorite activities because it is so relaxing. My favorite genre to read is realistic fiction and historical fiction. My favorite part about reading is getting lost in the setting of the book. I also love becoming attached to the characters. By the end of the book I feel like they could be my own friends or family if they were real!  Be sure to comment back on our post and tell us about you as a reader.

Hi readers! I'm Ms. Schaefer and I teach middle school language arts. My love for reading has grown over the years. Reading is such an important skill to have and use on a daily basis. I love to read because I enjoy all the new information I can learn. My favorite thing about reading is getting so involved in a book and not wanting to put it down. My go-to genre is realistic fiction. Reading makes more sense to me when I can relate it to myself, stop and react to what I've read, and rereading when a part confuses me. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your reading adventures on our blog! 😊

  1. Hello book club. I am Ally. I love reading because when I get really into the book I do not want to put it down. My favorite books are graphics novels. When I am done reading sometimes I read it again. Also, when I am done reading the title makes more sense and even the book.

I remember bringing this book to school and rereading it and at one point I was reading it during class and i lost myself. I didn't even notice the teacher was explaining something. My favorite type of books are graphic novels.

If you could invite the main character of your book over to your house, what would you do together?
