From Book to Movie!

The other night I turned on Netflix (I know I probably should have been reading) and I found a movie of a book we read for Family Book Club! The Boxcar Children is a movie on Netflix! I really enjoyed this movie, especially since it was almost exactly the same as the book!

If you have Netflix, check it out and let me know what you think! If not, what is your favorite book turned into a movie?? 📖   🎥

P.S. - I just found a Netflix category called "Movies based on children's books"

  1. One of my favorite series turned into a movie is definitely The Hunger Games! I am one though who strongly believes in reading the book before watching the movie!

  2. My personal two favorite books turned into movies are Matilda and Charlie and the chocolate factory because both in their books they are described by words, but in the movies they are described by actions and being able to see things. I just love those two books and their movies because you can tell how different they are and how unique each of the stories are

  3. My personal favorite book turned into a movie is matilda because in the book they describe certain details, but in the movies they describe it by actions. Another thing it that they are so different from each other the movie (not to offend anyone) was not better than the book. The main reason why is because I find it better is because you can get that joy of just pulling out a book and reading it instead of just spending 1-2 hours sitting or laying on something watching something and not even taking time on it.-Melanie B

If you could invite the main character of your book over to your house, what would you do together?
